About GoalCalcs

GoalCalcs is a free set of financial calculators for loans, mortgages, savings and debt. It is built and run by Attereon.

What it's for

The calculators answer the money questions people look up most: what a loan or mortgage will cost each month, how much house an income supports, how long a credit card takes to pay off, how savings grow, and which debt to pay first. Each one shows the full picture behind the answer, such as the payment schedule, the interest and the effect of paying extra. See all the calculators.

Free, with no ads

Every calculator is free, with no ads and no paywall, and none needs an account. Signing in, with Attereon ID, only lets you save calculations and track your own loans and savings. You can share any result with a link.

How we check the math

  • Each calculator's formulas are tested against independent reference calculations: worked examples and separate month-by-month simulations, computed apart from the calculator's own code.
  • Those tests run automatically before every update. If any fails, the update doesn't go live, and every public page is loaded in a browser and checked as part of the same step.
  • Rates, loan limits and mortgage insurance premiums come from government and industry sources, each with the date it applies to. Every calculator lists its method, assumptions and sources, all collected on How our calculators work.

Your privacy

Results are worked out in your browser. We don't collect the numbers you enter unless you choose to save them, we don't sell your information, and our visit statistics use no cookies and no ad trackers. The privacy policy explains exactly what is stored and the few exceptions, such as the county loan-limit lookup.

Estimates, not advice

Results are estimates from the numbers you enter. They aren't financial advice and won't match a lender's figures to the cent, so check important numbers with your lender or a qualified professional. See the terms of use.
